Rouviette Hanna

Rouviette Hanna, age 87, Roswell, Georgia fell asleep in the Lord on September 18, 2023.  She was born February 10, 1936 in Hadath Beirut, Lebanon to George and Linda Yebaile. 

Rouviette was married to her late husband, Spiridon S. Hanna on June 26, 1955. Their family immigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1967.

Rouviette loved being surrounded by her family, constantly making sure they had everything they needed to be loved and cared for. She was supportive and excited about anything her children and grandchildren loved. Her love of coffee at all times of the day and her sassy sense of humor were what made Rouviette so special. 

Rouviette is survived by her five children, Mirna Raya and her husband Joseph; Antoine Hanna and his wife Karen; Gladys Hanna; Hanan Hanna; Elie Hanna and his wife Dzovag; and 10 beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Sean, Brooke, Ashley, Sarah, Jordan, Iris, Lillian, Taleen, and Bryce and great grandchild: Montgomery R. Raya and Lizzie Raya . She was preceded in death by her husband, Spiridon S. Hanna,  her daughter Hanan Hanna,  parents George and Linda Yebaile, and siblings, Antoine Yebaile, Edward Yebaile, and Olga Yebaile.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of Rouviette Hanna to St. John Chrysostom Melkite Church ,1428 Ponce de Leon Ave., N.E., Atlanta, GA 30307, 404-373-9522.

A visitation service will be held on Saturday, September 23 at 10 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery following the funeral.  After interment, a mercy meal will be hosted at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church.
